Med Surg RN (Flex Pool) - Night Shift

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Nights, 4x12-hour shifts (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM) with every other weekend required.

Job Description

We are seeking a Med Surg RN to join our Flex Pool team. The ideal candidate will provide compassionate patient care in a fast-paced medical-surgical unit, ensuring high standards of clinical effectiveness and patient safety.

Responsibilities

• Deliver care in accordance with hospital policies and procedures.
• Monitor patient conditions and administer medication as prescribed.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to implement patient care plans.
• Participate in rapid response situations and use appropriate interventions.
• Document all care activities accurately in the electronic medical record.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Valid South Carolina RN license or compact license.
• Minimum of 2 years of Med Surg nursing experience.
• BLS certification required; ACLS and NIHSS certifications preferred.
• Experience with Epic charting system is required.
