Travel RN - GI​/Endoscopy

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a high-volume Endoscopy Lab position requiring on-call availability and rotation through pre-, post-, and intra-op areas.

Job Details

• Work in a high-volume, fast-paced Endoscopy Lab within a hospital setting,

• RNs rotate through pre-op, post-op, and intra-op areas,

• Day shift schedule: 07:30-18:00,

• On-call required, approximately 5 call shifts per 4-week period,

• Floating to other like units may be required,

• 13-week contract,

Job Requirements

• Active SC or compact RN license required,

• BLS certification required (AHA only),

• ACLS certification required (AHA only),

• Minimum 1 year of endoscopy or GI nursing experience required,

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include patient assessment through history, observation, physical examination, and diagnostic data analysis,

• Provides age-specific nursing interventions consistent with the plan of care and standards of practice,

• Expected to contribute to department performance through precepting and mentoring of novice staff,

• Participates in hospital-system initiatives and evidence-based practice development
