Job Description Summary

MUSC Health - Florence Medical Center is seeking Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs) to join our growing practice in Florence, SC on a PRN basis. The provider will work PRN in collaboration with a dedicated Anesthesia Care Team composed of experienced CRNAs and board‑certified anesthesiologists.

The role will focus primarily on major vascular, cardiac, and thoracic anesthesia and may include general surgery and ASC cases. The position is located less than 65 miles from Myrtle Beach, SC.

• Graduate of a program approved by the Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs.
• For hires after March 1, 2019, a master’s degree or higher with a concentration in Nurse Anesthesia is required.
• Insurable by the medical malpractice insurer of MUSC for the required limits.

• Recognized as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) or eligible to obtain APRN status with a current license to practice in South Carolina.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications required, either from an American Health Association (AHA) or an American Red Cross CPR/AED program for professional rescuers and healthcare providers.
