Cardiovascular Operating Room - CVOR RN - Travel Nurse

Florence, South Carolina

We are seeking a Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) Registered Nurse for a 13‑week travel assignment in Florence, SC. The RN will support a team of physicians, RNs, and other medical staff, providing advanced circulating care during cardiothoracic and complex surgical procedures.

• Assess, plan, and evaluate nursing care needs of patients before, during, and after surgical procedures.
• Participate in the care of patients receiving conscious sedation.
• Administer prescribed medications, apply dressings, and monitor vital signs.
• Assist physician during procedures.
• Maintain aseptic techniques and monitor for breaches in sterility.
• Coordinate operating room logistics concerning sterility, cleanliness, equipment, and supplies.
• Ensure proper handling of specimens.

• Registered Nurse license.
• 1–2 years of recent acute care experience.
• ACLS and BLS certifications (minimum 2 years).
• Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, lean, and stoop for extended periods; capable of lifting up to 20 pounds routinely and up to 50 pounds when necessary.
• Strong stress‑management skills and ability to work with diverse populations.
