American Traveler is seeking an experienced Operating Room RN for a Level 3 trauma center, requiring a minimum of 5 years of acute care OR experience across multiple specialties.

• Work in a 12-room General Operating Room department at a Level 3 trauma center
• 4x10 hour day shifts, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• On-call required, including 2 late calls until 11pm per week and every 3rd-4th weekend call
• No floating between service lines or to sister facilities required
• Uses Epic EMR

• Active SC or Multi-State/Compact RN license required
• BLS certification required (AHA only)
• Minimum of 5 years of acute care operating room experience required
• Must have well-rounded OR experience including general, neuro, ortho, ENT, and GYN specialties
• Radiation badge required, to be provided by the agency
• Driver's license and SSN required for consideration

• Scrubs are provided by the facility
• No parking costs
• Block scheduling may be accommodated pending manager approval based on unit needs
• First-time travelers accepted if they possess a broad scope of specialty competency
• Previous MUSC permanent or PRN staff must be separated from the system for 1 year before returning as a traveler
• Local candidates within 60 miles are not accepted; non-local candidates are prioritized
• All requested time off must be submitted at time of application for consideration
• During hurricane season (June through November), all staff may be assigned to emergency response teams
