American Traveler is hiring an ICU RN with 2+ years of ICU or stepdown experience for a night shift position requiring an SC or compact RN license.

• Work in the ICU of a 12-bed unit
• Patient ratio of 1:4
• Night shift schedule, 3x12 hours, 7p-7a
• Holiday rotation required
• Every other weekend required
• No on-call responsibilities
• Floating within scope required to meet facility needs, with agency staff floating first
• Uses Epic charting system

• Active SC RN license or compact license in hand prior to start
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS (AHA certifications only)
• NIHSS certification preferred
• Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required
• Prior ICU and/or Stepdown experience required for first-time travelers
• Epic charting experience preferred
• SSN required for consideration

• Provide critical care nursing to ICU patients
• Scrub color required is royal blue
• Free parking available
• Block scheduling requests may be submitted but are not guaranteed
• First-time travelers accepted if they have prior ICU and/or Stepdown experience
• Previous perm staff (including PRN) must be separated from the facility system for 1 year before returning as a traveler
• All RTO must be submitted at time of offer consideration
• Local candidates not accepted; radius rule is 60 miles
• During hurricane season (June-November), all staff may be assigned to emergency response teams
