Summary

Performs quality control audits to evaluate accuracy and effectiveness of departmental operations functions including, but not limited to, claims, membership, customer service/call center, workflow, processing support systems, procedures, documentation, etc.

Location

Florence, SC. Full time, Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm, onsite.

What You Will Do
  • Conduct focused quality audits across various operations functions to ensure standards, procedures, and methodologies are followed.
  • Document findings and prepare recommendations for new systems, procedures, or changes to reduce errors.
  • Identify areas of weakness and communicate recommendations on improvements to training materials.
  • Provide feedback to management on detected errors, ensure resolution, and suggest long‑range solutions.
  • Develop and implement a quality control and improvement program based on identified targets.
  • Monitor and evaluate implementation of corrective action plans.
  • Compile data, provide feedback, and generate reports for operations and or training areas on quality performance.
  • Train new employees and stay current with guideline changes, work instructions, etc.
  • Write or assist in writing desk procedures and training materials for departments.
  • Assist with special projects such as testing new business implementations, system changes, reviewing change requests, interpreting department workload, and statistical reports.
Qualifications
  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: 1 year of related claims processing, customer service, auditing, training, analysis or operations experience; 2 years performing quality audits.
  • Security Clearance: Ability to obtain a U.S. security clearance.
  • Tools: Microsoft Office.
  • Skills & Abilities: Strong analytical, presentation, customer service, persuasion, organization, business math proficiency; ability to document problems, processes, and improvement areas; strong verbal and written communication.
