About the role:

Contract opportunity for a Grid Inspector at the Westinghouse Columbia facility.

Key Responsibilities:

Safely perform detailed dimensional and visual inspection of production parts that are repetitive in nature based on customer requirements using standard measurement tools and gages
Safely perform an overcheck of shipping documents and records packages provided by our suppliers to ensure the records are accurate and validate Westinghouse expectations have been fulfilled.
Read and interpret drawings, process information forms and standards to determine dimensional and skillfulness requirements
Review internal and external contract schedules and meet daily production needs
Use fundamental tools of non-conforming material including proper documentation in internal hold system
Communicate quality issues to all necessary levels of support promptly

THIS IS A CONTRACT Position

Qualifications:

High School Graduate or Equivalent
Must be Available all Shifts
Must pass Psychological/Safety Assessment
Must pass stringent background drug screen and medical
Can stand, sit, push, pull, kneel, bend and lift and carry 35 lbs
2 Years Manufacturing experience is preferred
