Summary:

Our inside sales team is our front line of customer service and quickly processes orders for customers, tracks down special order items, and provides quotations for more sophisticated jobs and projects. This role is in an office setting as well as some time spent in the warehouse and around our contractor sales counter. We are a nationwide electrical wholesaler with a focus on servicing elevator contractors on the east coast.

We are seeking someone with sales and/or customer service experience that wants to grow their career at business with lots of local autonomy and room for career growth and profit sharing!

Duties include but are not limited to:

+ Inside Sales

+ Counter Sales

+ Customer Service

+ Developing Elevator and Electrical Product Knowledge

+ Inventory Management

+ Process Improvement

+ Warehouse Operations

+ Purchasing

+ Digital Initiatives (Customer Portal Maintenance, Mobile App, etc.)

Typical

Work Hours:

Monday-Friday 7am-4pm

Reports to:

Profit Center Manager

Minimum Qualifications:

+ Excellent communication skills (verbal/written)

+ Willingness to take on a variety of tasks

+ Entrepreneurial minded

+ Desire to grow sales and maximize profitability

+ Comfortable in a warehouse/blue collar setting

+ Strong leadership

+ Sales experience

+ Ability to regularly lift 30 lbs

+ Ability to use a computer, smartphone, and tablet with all relevant applications including but not limited to Microsoft Office, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.

+ Excellent and consistent attendance

+ High School Diploma or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications:

+ Bachelor's or Associates degree in a technical or business discipline, or equivalent experience

+ Two years of experience in the electrical/elevator industry or similar field

Working Conditions:

This job operates in a professional office and warehouse environment. You'll use standard office equipment, and occasionally lift/move up to 30 pounds.

+ Provide outstanding service to new and existing customers (phone, email, and in person)

+ Accurately write and manage customer orders, following sales policies

+ Maintain and strengthen existing customer relationships

+ Proactively meet or exceed monthly sales goals

+ Collaborate with outside sales and other departments to serve customer needs

+ Offer ideas to improve processes and service

+ Follow up on quotes, orders, and materials in a timely manner

+ Stay up to date on new products and services we offer

Compensation Range:

The compensation range for this position is $21 to $24 hourly.
