Job Description

Join a dynamic team in a maintenance electrician role where you will play an essential role in supporting the design, evaluation, and repair of electrical equipment. This position is crucial for maintaining the functionality and safety of our electrical systems used in the production of crossarms for electric power poles.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical assistance and resolution for electrical or engineering problems encountered before, during, and after construction.
• Assemble electrical and electronic systems and prototypes using engineering data and electrical principles.
• Collaborate with engineers and other personnel to solve developmental problems.
• Analyze and interpret test information to resolve design-related issues.
• Draw or modify diagrams and write engineering specifications to clarify design details.
• Install, repair, modify, and upgrade industrial control systems, including PLC logic.
• Inspect for quality control and assurance, reporting findings and recommendations.
• Prepare project cost and work-time estimates as needed.
• Complete all necessary documentation accurately.
• Adhere to 5S standards by maintaining cleanliness of work area.
• Follow all Safety, Environmental, and Quality policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Essential Skills

• Electrical troubleshooting and maintenance technician skills.
• Experience with PLCs, including Allen-Bradley, Siemens, Mitsubishi, Schneider, and Automation Direct.
• Ability to troubleshoot PLCs without requiring programming skills.
• Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, servo drives, and VFDs.
• Experience with changing belts and bearings.
• Familiarity with pultrusion machines.

Details:

• Newberry, SC
• Monday - Friday, 3pm - 11pm / Occasional mandatory overtime on the weekends
• $28 - $30/hr
• 6 month Contract-to-Hire (probationary period until converted to permanent employee)

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Newberry, SC.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $34.00/hr.
