ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Install, repair, and maintain electrical systems equipment, and components in accordance with local and national codes and regulations.
• Diagnoses and troubleshoot complex electrical problems to include welding equipment and making repairs.
• Perform routine and preventative maintenance on electrical systems and equipment.
• Test electrical systems and equipment to ensure they are functioning safely and efficiently.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
• Adhere to state and local building regulations.
• Work with a team of electricians and other tradespeople to complete projects on time and within budget.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment and comply with all safety procedures and regulations.

INDUSTRIAL ELECTRICIAN QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Journeyman Electrician license or equivalent
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in the electrical industry
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints
• Working knowledge of electrical codes and regulations
• Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot complex electrical problems
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Physical ability to lift heavy equipment and work in confined spaces

Our jobs consist of both heavy structural welding fabrication (MCAW, FCAW) and water cool fabrication of wall panels, roof panels, duct work, etc. for off gas processes in steel mills.
