The Millwright Supervisormanages Millwright crews on large-scale projects andmaintainscommunication with clients and project coordinators. Theyare responsible for overseeing daily job site operations, ensuring that the company, employee, and customer needs are met. The supervisorutilizesavailable resources efficiently,while prioritizing safety, effectiveness, and efficiency in all aspects of the project.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

All employees are required tofollow all Safety and Quality rules and processes to ensure a safe working environment, and the production of high-quality products. Duties and responsibilities for our Millwright Supervisorsinclude, but are not limited to:

  • Oversee and manage allmechanicalcrews on the project, ensuring work is completed according to safety codes, specifications, and industry standards.
  • Coordinate daily operations and workflows, ensuring tasks are delegated appropriately and executed on schedule.
  • Review and approve timesheets, ensuringaccuratereporting of hours worked and project progress.
  • Act as the primary point of contact between the project teams, clients, and project coordinators,facilitatingclear communication and addressing any issues or concerns that arise.
  • Monitor project progress and adjust to ensuretimelyand cost-effective completion ofmechanicalwork.
  • Provide regular reports on project status, including timelines, milestones, and any potential delays or complications.
  • Ensure all necessary materials, tools, and equipment are available and organized for the crew to work efficiently.
  • Enforce safety regulations and ensure all work complies with health and safety standards.
  • Resolve conflicts or issues between crew members, ensuring a positive and productive work environment.
  • Troubleshoot, install,maintain, and repair machinery and equipment according to layout plans, blueprints, and other technical drawings in industrial settings.
  • Perform precise alignments on motors, gearboxes, and rollers.
  • Operate mobile equipment such as forklifts, aerial lifts, and cranes safely and efficiently.
  • Install,maintain, and repair machinery and equipment based on layout plans, blueprints, and technical drawings in industrial environments.
  • Maintain and repair conveyor systems.
  • Perform mechanical alignments on motors, gearboxes, rollers, and other equipment to ensure proper function.
  • Operate and manage mobile equipment including forklifts, aerial lifts, and cranes to transport and position machinery and parts.
  • Weld and use cutting torches to fabricate,modify, or repair metal components as needed.
  • Use precision instruments to align, measure, and adjust equipment to meet installation or operational requirements.
  • Utilize power tools such as saws, drills, and grinders for various tasks in installation and repair processes.
  • Employ both standard and metric hand tools, including wrenches, sockets,Allenkeys, and taps, to perform mechanical tasks efficiently.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical issues promptly and accurately, ensuring minimal downtime andmaintainingproject timelines.

Job Specifications or

Qualifications:

Education:

High School Diploma preferred but not required.

Certifications:

30-hour Construction OSHArequired.

NCCER is preferred but not required.

Experience and

Qualifications:

  • 30-hour Construction OSHArequired. NCCER is preferred but not required.
  • 2+ years of experience in a Millwright Supervision roleisrequired.
  • 4+ years of hands-on experience as a Millwright is required.
  • Experience with heavy equipment installationofan

    AutoStoreand/orinEV battery settings is highly desirable.
