Program Reentry Coordinator Camille Graham Correctional Inst., Columbia; RICHLAND Level 2

Responsibilities

• Supervises staff while maintaining a caseload.
• Ensures programming and services are provided to all offenders beginning 24 months prior to release.
• Provides hands on delivery and oversight of evidence-based programming that is essential to meeting the needs of releasing offenders.
• Ensures all pertinent information is documented in the Offender Management System.
• Provides program specific lectures.
• Provides discharge/aftercare planning referral services for successful community reintegration through SCDC partners for employment, housing, and vocational rehabilitation.
• Participates on a multi-disciplinary treatment team for purposes of program evaluation and case management consultation.
• Assists in recruiting volunteers from the community to provide beneficial programs to inmates.
• Responds to requests for information.
• Completes assigned monthly reports.
• Participates in staff meetings and attend training sessions as required.

Position located at Camille Griffin Correctional Institution.

Must successfully complete four (4) weeks of SCDC Basic Training upon hire.

• A bachelor's degree and relevant program experience.

Minimum Requirements:

• A bachelor's degree and relevant experience in program development, implementation, and oversight.
• An associate's degree and 3 years relevant experience in program development, implementation, and oversight.
• A high school diploma and 5 years relevant experience in program development, implementation, and oversight.

Must have 3 years supervisory experience.
