* Purpose:

To provide transportation support and assistance to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities to enable them to live valued lives in the community.

Qualifications:

* Must successfully complete the required pre-employment Background and Drug Screenings
* Must possess a valid Driver's License which meets company standards for approved driver status
* High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred
* Experience working with people with intellectual/developmental disabilities is preferred

Essential Functions:

* Assists individuals in traveling to and from training sites, medical appointments and throughout the community following all speed limits and traffic laws
* Ensures that vehicles and equipment are properly maintained, in good working order and safe for operation
* Ensure the safety of the individuals and staff by requiring proper use of seat belts and tie downs
* Completes and ensures the accuracy of Trip logs and Vehicle Inspection sheets according to regulations
* Performs all other duties as assigned
