• Accurately complete corresponding delivery paperwork and work with production, sales and customers to communicate issues with loads and delivery time
• Work safely to prevent on-the-job injuries by following safety rules and regulations at all times, including proper wearing of company PPE
• Drive trucks to weigh stations before and after loading and along routes to document weights and to comply with state regulations
• Ensure vehicle is properly loaded and load secured and product is delivered safely and timely
• Inspect vehicles for safety or operational defects using DOT, maintenance, and safety checklists and ensure emergency equipment is in proper working order
• Inventory and inspect goods to be moved to determine quantities and conditions
• Load security tasks as needed (securing chains, tarping, dropping and hooking a trailer)
• Maintain logs of working hours or vehicle service/repair status, following applicable state and federal regulations
• Work a 12 hour shift, including overtime, weekends and holidays
• Perform daily Pre-Trip, Inter-Trip, and Post-Trip Inspections
• Deliver products to customers, contractors, and jobsites within the geographic region
• Set up a sideboard kit around the trailer perimeter
• Use Electronic Logging Devices (ELD) during operation; driver training provided
• Operate a variety of trucks (roll off, van, or flatbed)
• Roll off, end dump, and flatbed experience preferred but not required
• Perform additional duties as needed

• Must be at least 21 years of age
• No DUI or DWI within the last 5 years
• No more than 1 moving violation in the previous 3 years
• Must be able to lift up to 65 lbs
• Ability to pass a company road test
• Driver must be knowledgeable in DOT regulations/requirements
• Frequent physical activity such as walking, climbing stairs/ladders, handling chains, drops and hooks trailers, inspecting and reaching to work with equipment during the shift
• Must be able to work outside in all weather conditions, including heat and cold
• Willingness to learn and tackle new challenges
• Effective listening and verbal skills to engage with internal and external customers
• Must speak and understand English (verbal and written)
• No on-road preventable accidents in the past 3 years as shown on the MVR; accidents reviewed by CMC Logistics
• Pass required DOT and CMC Logistics drug testing programs and physicals as required by DOT
• Valid Class A Commercial Driver License (No Restrictions)
• Ability to work well with team members or independently; open to feedback

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience preferred
