Well established Real Estate client is looking to add an enthusiastic Property Accounting Manager. Must have Commercial Real Estate experience. Will prepare monthly, quarterly and year-end financial statements/reporting packages, and perform a wide variety of accounting analysis.
Duties and Responsibilities- Month-end closing and quarterly financial statements
- Prepare journal entries and maintain work papers
- Analyze and explain significant budget variances
- Prepare annual budgets and reforecasts
- CAM and Real Estate Tax reconciliations
- Analyze available cash position of real estate projects
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives and leverage AI tools to streamline reporting and accounting
- Assist management with special projects
- Analyze closing/financing documents to identify applicable accounting treatment for the transactions
The ideal candidate will be a self-starter who is looking for a long-term opportunity to take on a full range of accounting responsibilities for assigned real estate projects.
Bachelor’s Degree
8-10 years of combined accounting experience in commercial real estate property accounting.
Mix of public accounting real estate client base and private industry experience a plus.
