We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Bookkeeper to join our team in Florham Park, NJ. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys a mix of accounting responsibilities and office management duties while supporting day-to-day business operations. The ideal candidate will have hands‑on bookkeeping experience, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions, including vendor invoices, check processing, client invoicing, and collections.
- Perform monthly bank and credit card reconciliations.
- Prepare monthly financial reports, including profit & loss statements and balance sheets.
- Handle sales tax payments, prepare 1099s, and assist with year‑end audits.
- Manage office supplies, vendor relationships, and equipment maintenance.
- Maintain digital and physical filing systems.
- Handle correspondence and assist with calendar management and administrative tasks.
- 2+ years of combined bookkeeping and office management experience.
- Strong experience with accounting software such as Quick Books, Sage, or similar systems.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word.
- Understanding of GAAP principles, general ledger accounting, and financial reporting.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- High school diploma required; degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business preferred.

Compensation and BenefitsDetermining compensation for this role depends upon a wide array of factors including skill sets, experience, training, licensure and certifications, office location and other geographic considerations, as well as other business and organizational needs. The salary range for the role is noted in this job posting. The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, and can participate in medical, dental, and vision benefits as well as the company’s 401(k) retirement plan.
