Role Description The Office Assistant is a part-time entry level position, on-site role based in Florham Park and Berkeley Heights, NJ. This role supports daily front and back office operations, including answering phones, greeting patients, scheduling appointments, insurance verifications, and data entry. The Office Assistant will handle patient information and documentation, and maintain organized filing systems. Additional responsibilities include operating standard office equipment, assisting with data entry into practice management systems, coordinating with clinical staff, and helping ensure a clean, professional, and welcoming office environment.

Qualifications
- Strong Phone Etiquette skills, including professional handling of calls and courteous interaction with patients and partners.
- Administrative Assistance experience, with ability to manage schedules, patient records, and general office support tasks.
- Effective Communication skills, both written and verbal, for interacting with patients, staff, and external parties.
- Proficiency with Office Equipment such as multi-line phone systems, printers, copiers, scanners, and fax machines.
- Solid Clerical Skills, including accurate data entry, filing, record-keeping, and basic document preparation.
- High attention to detail, reliability, and strong organizational abilities in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
- Comfort working with basic computer software and electronic health or practice management systems.
- Prior experience in a medical or healthcare office setting is preferred but not required.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional training in office administration or healthcare support is a plus.
