About the RoleIn this role, you will serve as ADP's frontline for solving clients' challenges including issue resolution, answering questions, helping clients, training their users on ADP technology, and more. You carry the weight of ADP's service reputation and client satisfaction in your hands.
The nature of what you do every day will not change – your #1 goal is to help clients who have between 1–49 employees. Every day will be different because the questions you receive will vary, as will the solutions you provide each client. There will be no shortage of new questions, which will keep things interesting, and our top‑ranked training will help set you up for success.
To thrive in this role, you must be comfortable working in a metrics‑driven call center environment as part of a structured day. You should build rapport with clients, establish trust, shine with professionalism, and communicate clearly over the phone and in writing. Your client satisfaction scores should be a point of pride. Pace should not scare you – we also value a healthy dose of fun and friendships that last.
WhatYou’ll Do
- Client Support: help clients manage their business using our solutions, including troubleshooting payroll issues and partnering with multiple business units for a seamless client experience.
- Learn: continually upgrade knowledge and skills on payroll, federal and state compliance, standard operating procedures, administrative practices, other products, and desktop support tools.
- Organize: adhere to a daily schedule and manage a high volume of inbound calls; phone time may increase during peak seasons.
- At least one year of experience in a customer service environment or as an HR/HRIS practitioner with systems experience.
- Ability to work overtime hours during peak seasons.
- College degree is great but not required; essential skills to do the job are prioritized. Acceptable additional experiences include military experience emphasizing teamwork, adaptability, organization, and follow‑through.

- Base salary offers vary by location, skills, and experience. Additional compensation may include bonus, equity, or commissions.
