Description:At this time, our client has an immediate opening in their Structural Department for an intermediate Structural Engineer, with experience in the design of steel, concrete, masonry as well as wood frame structures. IN-OFFICE based role.
Responsibilities:- Develop construction documents including plans and details for building structures
- Prepare calculations for steel, wood, concrete, and masonry structures
- Coordinate with architecture and other engineering disciplines
- Interact with clients to discuss project requirements
- Visit sites as necessary and prepare field reports
- Minimum 5+ years Structural Engineering experience
- Proven experience desired designing structural systems for commercial, residential, industrial buildings, multi-family dwellings, daycare centers, and retail
- Must have expertise in designing steel, wood frames, and concrete buildings
- Good written and Verbal skills for report preparation and client interaction
Bachelor's Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering, with an emphasis on Structural from an accredited school of Engineering
