Focus Staff is seeking a licensed MRI Technologist for a temporary 13‑week assignment in Morristown, New Jersey. The role involves operating magnetic resonance imaging equipment under the direction of the Chief of Radiology and Imaging Services Director, ensuring high quality diagnostic images, patient safety, and patient care.

• Minimum 2 years of regular, recent experience as an MRI Technologist (20+ hours per week)
• Proficient in all duties of a MRI Technologist II
• License in the required state
• BLS certification
• Proficient in MRI and knowledge of complex MRI protocols
• Effective oral and written communication skills
• Ability to train new hires and students
• Hospital experience in a clinical area; EP preferred

• Operate magnetic resonance imaging equipment to produce diagnostic cross‑sectional images.
• Perform patient studies according to set protocols, placing coils and managing scan sequences.
• Operate imaging devices, key commands, adjust transmitters and receivers, and key data into camera/keyboard.
• Explain MRI procedures to patients, addressing concerns with tact and courtesy.
• Ensure patient and staff safety: explain safety protocol, remove hazardous metal, and monitor patients via closed‑circuit TV.
• Orient new hires and train MRI Technologists, students, and trainees.
