Travel Interventional Radiology Technologist

Overview

Integrated Healthcare Services is seeking a travel Interventional Radiology Technologist for a travel job in Morristown, New Jersey.

• • Assist proceduralist during complex diagnostic and interventional vascular, neuro-interventional cases with scrubbing side by side with specialty proceduralist
• • Strong knowledge with Floor and ceiling mounted fluoroscopic modality machines
• • The ability to identify, retrieve, and Circulate complex products during interventional procedural cases
• • The ability to critically think during neuro-interventional cases and complex cases to assist proceduralist
• • The ability to operate power injection of iodinated contrast media device during diagnostic and interventional procedures
• • Strong communication skills using closed loop communication
• • The ability to maintain sterile technique and maintain infection prevention measures to set up procedural trays for case load
• • Positively contribute to a multi-disciplinary team of with nurses, radiologist, and vascular surgeons
• • Knowledge of documentation in electronic medical record and send images to Sectra/PACs system
• • Groin management post intervention
• • Demonstrate the ability to provide high quality care in a fast paced environment
• • BLS from an approved AHS credentialed American heart association or a BLS accredited with skill demonstration in basic life support measures
• • Current licensure with the certification with ARRT NJ state ( defined in above JD.)
• • This role is similar to a cardiovascular technologist ( CVT) but MUST have radiographic licensure to operate x-ray fluoroscopic modalities.

• 3-5 years of experience as Interventional Radiologic technologist or a Cardio-Vascular technologist with NJ radiographic licensure.

  -High School Diploma/GED.
  
  -Associate degree.
  
  OR-Completion of accredited radiographic program.
• Preferred Education:

• • NJ radiographic licensure.
• • BLS from an approved AHS credentialed American heart association or a BLS accredited with skill demonstration in basic life support measures.
• • Current Radiography (R) certification with ARRT.
