UKG Workforce Specialist

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced UKG Workforce Specialist & HRIS Analyst to manage the day‑to‑day operation of our Workday HR systems and configure and support the UKG (formerly Kronos) Workforce Management (WFM) system. The role requires close collaboration with HR, Payroll, Operations, IT, and third‑party vendors to ensure efficient solutions that meet business needs.

Florham Park, NJ – 3 days in office, 2 days remote. Occasional travel may be required for training or implementation projects.

• Configure and maintain UKG Dimensions modules:
  Timekeeping, Scheduling, Accruals, Leave, and Attendance.
• Collaborate with HR, Payroll, Operations, and IT teams to gather and analyze business requirements.
• Translate business needs into technical system specifications and configurations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, performing root cause analysis.
• Conduct system testing, troubleshooting, and validation of changes and upgrades.
• Maintain and create pay rules, work rules, schedule templates, shift differentials, attendance policies, and other configurations.
• Create and generate reports from Dimensions data to provide analytics insights.
• Provide technical support and act as a subject‑matter expert for Dimensions Time & Attendance functionalities.
• Participate in system upgrades, new module implementations, and integrations with payroll and HRIS systems.
• Create and maintain detailed documentation on configurations, processes, and procedures.
• Develop training materials and deliver training to end‑users on Dimensions functionalities and best practices.
• Assist with day‑to‑day operation of the Workday HR system, creating customized reports and improving business processes.

• Proven experience configuring and supporting UKG Kronos (Dimensions & Workforce Central).
• Deep knowledge of Dimensions and WFC business processes such as timekeeping, scheduling, leave management, and labor compliance.
• Experience creating and maintaining pay rules, work rules, and scheduling patterns.
• Familiarity with SQL and data interfaces/integrations.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, HR, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 3–5 years of hands‑on experience with UKG Dimensions and WFC configuration and support.

• UKG Certification (Timekeeper, Advanced Scheduler, or Dimensions).
• Experience integrating Kronos with HRIS or payroll systems (e.g., Workday).
• Project management experience or involvement in Dimensions system implementations.
