DevOps Engineer

The Platform Engineer will be responsible for designing, building, maintaining, and optimizing enterprise CI/CD platforms, automation frameworks, security automation, database deployment solutions, and observability capabilities. The role will focus on improving developer experience, operational efficiency, security, scalability, and reliability through modern Dev Ops and Platform Engineering practices. The successful candidate will work closely with development, infrastructure, database, security, and other cross‑functional teams to implement automation, modernize software delivery processes, establish self‑service capabilities, and drive continuous improvement across enterprise technology environments.

• Design, build, maintain, and optimize enterprise CI/CD platforms and automation frameworks.
• Create reusable deployment patterns, templates, and self‑service capabilities to improve developer experience and reduce operational overhead.
• Troubleshoot, enhance, and modernize existing CI/CD processes to improve reliability, scalability, security, and operational efficiency.
• Develop and maintain automation across the application lifecycle, including build, testing, security validation, deployment, monitoring, and operational support.
• Partner with development teams to implement modern Dev Ops practices and accelerate software delivery.
• Lead the implementation and automation of security controls across software delivery and infrastructure platforms.
• Partner with Identity and Access Management teams to implement and support RBAC, SSO, PAM, and PSM capabilities.
• Design and implement automated password rotation and credential lifecycle management processes.
• Integrate security scanning, compliance validation, and governance controls into CI/CD pipelines.
• Drive remediation and automation efforts related to infrastructure, application, and software supply chain vulnerabilities.
• Lead the adoption and implementation of Database-as-Code practices across enterprise database platforms.
• Implement and support Liquibase‑based database deployment frameworks for databases not currently managed through application build pipelines.
• Develop automated processes for database deployments, validations, rollback procedures, and compliance controls.
• Build self‑service solutions for approved SQL/DML execution activities to reduce manual support requests and operational ticket volume.
• Establish governance and auditability standards for database changes.
• Develop and maintain monitoring, logging, metrics, and observability capabilities using enterprise platforms.
• Build automation and tooling to improve operational efficiency, system reliability, and platform visibility.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, security, and application teams to identify opportunities for standardization and continuous improvement.
• Develop integrations between enterprise tools, APIs, and platforms to streamline operational workflows and reduce manual intervention.
• Support technology modernization, automation, and operational transformation initiatives across enterprise environments.
• Work directly with development, infrastructure, database, and security teams to deliver scalable and maintainable engineering solutions.

• 5+ years of professional experience in Dev Ops, Platform Engineering, Site Reliability Engineering, or related disciplines.
• Deep understanding of Dev Ops, Platform Engineering, and modern software delivery practices.
• Experience designing, implementing, and supporting enterprise CI/CD pipelines and automation frameworks.
• Strong knowledge of Infrastructure‑as‑Code, Configuration Management, and Software Defined Infrastructure concepts.
• Deep understanding of on‑premises, virtualized, containerized, and cloud‑based environments.
• Strong programming and automation background with proficiency in Python or another modern programming language.
• Experience with enterprise automation and orchestration platforms such as Jenkins, Ansible, and Microsoft DSC.
