The Senior O365 Engineer is responsible for the design, administration, and support of Microsoft 365 services across the enterprise, with deep experience spanning the full Microsoft platform. This role delivers and maintains identity, security, and collaboration solutions including single sign-on (SSO) applications, app registrations, conditional access, Privileged Identity Management (PIM), Microsoft Purview, SharePoint, One Drive, Teams, Microsoft 365 Groups, Exchange, and Microsoft 365 Copilot.
Work includes configuring secure access controls, governing data and collaboration workloads, and automating administration through Power Shell and scripting. You will support service health, troubleshoot issues, and optimize performance across Microsoft 365 workloads while partnering with security, infrastructure, and business teams. Through strong platform stewardship and cross-platform expertise, the engineer contributes to a secure, well-governed, and highly available Microsoft 365 environment.

- Administer, support, and maintain Microsoft 365 services across the platform, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, One Drive, Microsoft Teams, and Microsoft 365 Groups.
- Configure and manage single sign-on (SSO) applications, app registrations, and enterprise application integrations in Microsoft Entra (Azure Active Directory).
- Design, implement, and maintain conditional access policies to secure identity and enforce access controls across the environment.
- Administer privileged access using Privileged Identity Management (PIM), including just-in-time activation of privileged roles, eligible role assignments, and periodic privileged-access reviews.
- Apply data governance, security, and compliance controls using Microsoft Purview, including data classification, data loss prevention (DLP), and retention policies.
- Develop and maintain Power Shell scripts to automate provisioning, administration, reporting, and routine operational tasks across Microsoft 365 workloads.
