Senior SQL Performance Engineer- Summary
Seeking an experienced Senior SQL Performance Engineer to design, optimize, and
support enterprise SQL Server environments. The role focuses on database
performance tuning, SQL development, ETL/SSIS solutions, production support,
database security, and data integration.
- Design and develop complex SQL queries, stored procedures, views, and
functions. - Optimize SQL Server performance through query tuning, indexing, partitioning,
and monitoring. - Manage and support production SQL databases, ensuring high availability,
reliability, and data integrity. - Design and maintain scalable database schemas and data structures.
- Develop, support, and troubleshoot SSIS/ETL solutions for data migration,
transformation, and integration. - Implement database security, backup, recovery, replication, and disaster
recovery strategies. - Lead data migration and integration initiatives across multiple systems and
platforms. - Ensure data governance, quality, compliance, and reporting accuracy.
- Provide technical leadership and support for database management, reporting,
and ERP integrations.
- Strong SQL Server and T-SQL expertise.
- SQL performance tuning and production monitoring.
- Database design, indexing, and partitioning.
- SSIS and ETL development.
- Data migration, integration, and troubleshooting.
- Database security, backup/recovery, and high-availability solutions.
- Experience with SQL Server, reporting tools, or cloud data platforms.
- Exposure to AI-assisted tools such as Microsoft Copilot, Git Hub Copilot, or
similar AI technologies.
