Senior Building Supervisor

Are you a skilled facilities professional with a knack for keeping complex buildings running at peak performance? Join our team as a Building Supervisor and take charge of operations at our dynamic Florham Park campus – a space that includes offices, labs, a model shop, and a café. You will play a key role in maintaining a safe, efficient, and innovative work environment that supports our teams every day.

• Automation:
  Proficient operating building management systems (BMS)
• Facility Maintenance:
  Ensure the office, lab, model shop, and café are properly maintained and operational. Address maintenance requests promptly.
• Preventive Maintenance:
  Develop and implement a preventive maintenance program for HVAC and building systems.
• Vendor Coordination:
  Manage service contracts and coordinate with external vendors for repairs and maintenance services.
• Safety & Compliance:
  Ensure compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and company policies.
• Emergency Response:
  Act as the point of contact for facility-related emergencies, ensuring swift resolution.
• Project Management:
  Oversee small renovation and improvement projects as needed.
• Inspections:
  Conduct routine inspections and address any hazards.
• Efficiency:
  Recommend ways to automate various maintenance functions. Identify opportunities to reduce operating cost. Support sustainability initiatives and energy efficiency improvements.

• 5+ years in facility maintenance, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Strong understanding of HVAC and general building maintenance.
• Experience managing building and coordinating maintenance activities.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues efficiently.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for coordinating with internal teams and external vendors.

• Certifications – OSHA, EPA, or relevant trade certifications.

The salary range for this role is $75,000–$125,000 annually, commensurate with the skills, talent, capabilities, and experience each candidate brings to a role.
