** About the role
** The Director, Sales & Operations Planning will serve as the strategic leader, aligning commercial demand, operational capacity, and financial objectives across Reworld's East Region facilities. Reporting to the CFO / VP Finance, East Region, this role will lead and continuously improve the company's Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process, bringing together Commercial, Operations, Finance, and Supply Chain stakeholders to develop a unified operating plan that supports growth, optimizes capacity utilization, improves working capital performance, and drives informed business decisions.

Key Responsibilities
* Lead and continuously improve the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process across multiple facilities, coordinating input from Commercial, Operations, Finance, and other key stakeholders.
* Drive and maintain senior leadership engagement in the S&OP process by facilitating discussions, aligning priorities, and supporting informed decision-making.
* Facilitate the monthly S&OP cycle, including demand planning, supply planning, and cross-functional consensus planning.
* Analyze and resolve demand-related issues through effective cross-functional collaboration and data-driven decision-making.
* Provide input to business strategy development, long-term planning, annual budgeting, and monthly forecasting activities.
* Support supply chain initiatives, projects, and continuous improvement efforts across the organization.
* Develop demand plans based on business trends, customer requirements, and demand patterns, while identifying growth opportunities.
* Lead initiatives to improve inventory performance and achieve company inventory objectives.
* Develop, publish, and monitor key metrics to measure and improve planning effectiveness, inventory performance, and customer service.
* Coordinate the movement of Municipal Solid Waste and Profiled Waste by aligning waste type, material mix, and receiving facility requirements with Commercial and Operations teams.
* Produce weekly flash reports, planning dashboards, and data analytics to support operating and commercial decisions.
* Lead profiled-waste demand forecasting activities and perform inventory, optimization, and growth-opportunity analyses.
* Champion S&OP best practices across the organization and drive adoption through training, education, and change management initiatives.
* Develop, coach, and guide cross-functional teams in executing strategies that support key business objectives and performance indicators.
* Build and maintain strong working relationships with internal customers, suppliers, and external partners.
* Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.## Key Requirements
* MBA required in Supply Chain, Engineering, Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related discipline.
