ARMStaffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a travel nursing job in Morristown, New Jersey.

Job Description

The Travel RN will be responsible for delivering patient care to a diverse population with a focus on high-risk pregnancies. The role requires a strong understanding of growth and development across the lifespan and excellence in clinical skills.

Responsibilities
  • Perform comprehensive and accurate patient assessments.
  • Provide direct patient care consistent with clinical responsibilities.
  • Maintain complete and accurate documentation in line with guidelines.
  • Demonstrate professionalism and responsibility within practice.
  • Promote patient satisfaction through professional interactions.
  • Follow National Patient Safety Goals and safe transfer techniques.
  • Individualize care based on surgical conditions and diagnoses.
  • Educate patients and families on pre-operative and post-operative care.
  • Evaluate adherence to Pre Admission Testing (PAT) orders.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
  • ACLS Certification - Required
  • BLS Certification - Required
  • Active RN License - Required
  • Previous travel experience with high-risk pregnancies in large hospital settings.
  • Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing;
    Associates or Bachelor's Degree preferred.
