Job Description Nurse, OR RN - PER DIEM

Job Summary:

The Operating Room (OR) Registered Nurse provides perioperative nursing care to patients undergoing surgical procedures. The OR RN collaborates with care team to deliver safe, efficient, and high-quality patient care while maintaining compliance with established clinical, regulatory, and patient safety standards.

Essential Functions
  • Provide nursing care throughout the perioperative process.
  • Prepare and maintain a safe, sterile surgical environment.
  • Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure coordinated patient care.
  • Monitor patient status and communicate changes in condition appropriately.
  • Administer medications and treatments in accordance with policies and professional standards.
  • Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Associate Degree in Nursing required;
    Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
  • Current BLS certification.
  • Perioperative or Operating Room nursing experience preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
  • ACLS and/or PALS certification.
  • Ambulatory surgery and/or scrub experience.

PER DIEM RATE: $56.50/ HOUR Pay Range: $45.14 - $56.44 Hourly

The provided compensation range is based on industry standards and salary determinations will be made based on numerous factors including but not limited to years of experience and location of position.
