Key Responsibilities
Install snow plows and salt spreaders on trucks
Service and repair snow equipment, including plows and salters
Assist with installation of truck accessories such as lift gates, hydraulic dump inserts, and hitches
Perform basic wiring for lighting and equipment
Inspect trailers and complete general mechanical repairs
Maintain equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation
Support shop operations with various mechanical tasks
RequirementsUp to 2 years of mechanical or related experience
Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn (automotive experience not required)
Ability to diagnose, repair, or learn to service plows and salting equipment
Familiarity with Fisher or Western equipment is a plus
Basic tool set required
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
Ability to perform physical work in a shop environment
Experience with wiring or electrical work is a plus, but not required
Work EnvironmentShop setting working on trucks, trailers, and snow equipment
Hands-on, team-oriented environment
