The Opportunity

Lead a team of seasoned software engineers on a Cyber Research & Engineering team to drive mission impact through innovative software development.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute complex plans for customer‑funded tasks within budget and on schedule using modern software development practices.
  • Deliver exceptional value to external and internal customers by demonstrating exemplary leadership and measuring results.
  • Operate effectively in a team environment, both as a team member and as a team leader.
  • Provide leadership and oversight, including selection, performance management, career development, and workload management.
  • Promote open communication within your team and across team boundaries.
  • Drive change and innovation in support of the organization’s objectives.
  • Cultivate and reinforce appropriate group values, norms, and behaviors, and provide guidance on employee development, performance, and productivity.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering and 6‑8 years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education, skills, and experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to provide strong leadership in establishing organizational goals, implementing value‑added process improvements, and motivating a highly skilled team while maintaining a strong customer focus.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • In‑depth experience in software engineering and development for communications systems, including architectural innovation and technical leadership.
  • Broad experience with the software engineering process from requirements reviews, code inspection to component delivery and sign‑off.
Desired
  • Development experience on multiple hardware platforms utilizing either Linux or Unix‑based operating systems.
  • Knowledge of IP telephony, signaling, call processing, real‑time operating systems, and hardware interface software (e.g., device drivers, low‑level embeddedSW).
  • Master’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, electrical engineering or a technical engineering field.
  • A “TS/SCI” clearance is required to begin employment. For this position, CACI has the ability to provide clearance sponsorship for qualified individuals.

Pay Range

Proposed salary range for this position is: $131,800 - $290,000. Our employees value the flexibility at CACI that allows them to balance quality work and their personal lives. We offer competitive compensation, benefits and learning and development opportunities.
