We are seeking a friendly, professional, and customer-focused Front Desk Rep to join our team.

As a Front Desk, you will serve as the first point of contact for clients, visitors, and patients visiting our Social Services Center. This role is responsible for creating a welcoming environment, managing front desk operations, coordinating visitor flow, and providing administrative support to ensure an exceptional experience for those seeking services. Key Responsibilities

Provide exceptional customer service by greeting clients, visitors, and patients in a professional and courteous manner.

Identify the purpose of each visit and direct individuals to the appropriate department, staff member, or waiting area.

Answer and direct incoming telephone calls while assisting with general inquiries.

Maintain accurate visitor and client logs, ensuring all information is entered properly.

Coordinate the flow of clients and visitors to Social Services staff and Department of Children and Families (DCF) representatives.

Assist clients with scanning, faxing, copying, and other document-related needs.

Handle sensitive and confidential information with the highest level of professionalism and discretion.

Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations, organizational policies, and procedures.

Support team members and departmental operations as needed to maintain efficient service delivery.

Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.

Previous experience in a customer service, receptionist, front desk, or administrative support role preferred.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, required.

Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.

Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

Effective problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Ability to maintain professionalism when working with diverse populations and sensitive situations.

Bilingual in English and Spanish or English and Creole preferred.
