Sr. Nuclear Outage Mechanical Planner – 1‑year contract assignment (W‑2).
Responsible for developing comprehensive work packages for maintenance, modifications, and surveillance activities at nuclear power facilities. Reports to onsite Manager.
Location:
Homestead, FL 33035. Per diem available. Fluent in ISI, IST, ASME Sect XI, ANI, ANII, Weld Travelers.
- Develop detailed work order task descriptions, including step‑by‑step instructions, material requirements, tool lists, and post‑maintenance testing requirements.
- Plan complex maintenance activities including ASME Section XI work, ISI/IST programs, and modification packages.
- Ensure work packages comply with regulatory requirements, technical specifications, and plant procedures.
- Coordinate clearance requirements and equipment isolation strategies with Operations.
- Identify and resolve technical issues during the planning phase to prevent field delays.
- Minimum:
Associate’s Degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, or related field, or equivalent 10 years plant experience. - Preferred:
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related science. - Minimum 7+ years of nuclear power plant experience, with at least 4 years in maintenance planning or equivalent technical role.

Pay: $47.00/hr to $52.00/hr (salary range depends on experience, qualifications and skills).
