Equipment & Modernization ROBUST Souring Analyst

We are seeking a Sourcing Analyst for the Field Supply Chain Team in North America to procure robust full systems and support global and national supply chain activities.

• Conduct RFP/RFQ exercises for pre‑ and post‑award NE/MOD robust contracts in collaboration with NAA field local offices.
• Present FSC‑determined material sources and defined pricing proposals to NAA field local offices, ensuring strong communication and fulfillment of material requirements.
• Prepare purchase orders for robust systems and subsystems sourced from national and international suppliers and ensure compliance with Otis terms and conditions.
• Confirm supplier POs and pricing, and negotiate to secure the best material pricing.
• Manage material logistics to guarantee on‑time deliveries, appropriate inventory levels, and support service rates/performance metrics.
• Monitor material execution of centrally sourced items, comparing actual vs. estimated performance.
• Resolve supply issues promptly in collaboration with external supplier groups, demonstrating excellent customer service.
• Maintain high service levels (SLA) by evaluating customer demand and expediting materials to meet internal and external needs.
• Ensure suppliers achieve quality, delivery, cost, and inventory metrics.
• Escalate sourcing issues in a timely manner during centralized sourcing exercises.
• Compile price proposals, financial reports, and analyses to support price reasonableness, purchase quantity, and strategy.
• Participate in process improvement activities to enhance internal processes and deploy future state FSC centralization goals.
• Other duties include resolving PO discrepancies, material rejections, price increases, invoicing issues, and identifying cost‑saving opportunities.

• Education:
  
  Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts in business, supply chain, or engineering.
• Experience:
  
  1–3 years in a supply‑chain function or elevator field experience; experience in SDC, MOD eLog, and with global JDE & associated systems (K2) is preferred.
• Computer skills:
  Proficient with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Teams, Smart Sheet; other data‑manipulation programs are a plus.
• Technical skills:
  Ability to read engineering drawings and elevator/escalator specification documentation.
• Interpersonal skills:
  Strong written and oral communication; ability to work with cross‑functional teams (Field Operations, Sales, Project Managers, Engineering, Supplier Quality).
• Additional:
  Excellent customer‑service attitude, strong analytical capabilities, and knowledge of lean manufacturing practices are desirable.
• Must be a self‑motivated, team‑oriented professional capable of operating in a collaborative environment.
