The Regional Parts Support Specialist provides operational, logistical, and analytical support for forward‑stocked inventory across branches within the assigned region. The role ensures inventory accuracy, oversees regional inventory movement, and supports the execution of the regional warehouse strategy. The Sr. Manager partners closely with branch teams, operations, supply chain, and digital stakeholders to uphold consistent processes and drive continuous improvement in parts availability and performance.
The Specialist is responsible for developing standards for forward‑stocked inventory and designing processes and an organizational structure to execute them effectively.
- Provide day‑to‑day support to branches in managing forward‑stocked inventory.
- Conduct onsite support visits as needed to troubleshoot operational issues, validate processes, and reinforce warehouse standards.
- Manage inventory movements within the region, including transfers, replenishment flows, and optimization of stock levels.
- Maintain alignment with warehouse management processes, including physical inventory handling, cycle counts, receiving, scanning, and stock transport orders.
- Support the build‑out and implementation of the regional warehousing strategy, ensuring alignment with broader HVAC parts transformation initiatives.
- Partner with warehouse, operations, and digital teams to deploy standardized processes and systems across locations.
- Ensure inventory is systematically and physically accurate across all regional stocking points.
- Support cycle count programs, discrepancy resolution, and root cause analysis.
- Maintain reporting for CCS parts, ensuring timely, accurate insights into inventory levels, accuracy, adjustments, and regional trends.
- Monitor and improve key KPIs including inventory accuracy, time to resolve discrepancies, and branch operational adherence.
- Surface trends, risks, and required corrective actions to regional operations leadership.
- Partner with operations, finance, and SIOP teams to drive branch‑ and region‑level inputs for the Parts Forecast.
- Provide insights on usage, demand shifts, stocking levels, and field feedback to inform accurate demand planning.
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- 5+ years of experience in parts operations, branch/warehouse management, inventory control, or regional operations support.
- Master’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations, or related field.
- Experience working within HVAC, aftermarket parts, industrial services, or multi‑branch service organizations.
- Prior leadership experience implementing forward‑stocking models, regional stocking strategies, or multi‑tier distribution networks.
- Familiarity with SIOP/S&OP processes, including contributing to regional or branch‑level parts forecasting.
- Proficiency with ERP, WMS, or inventory systems such as SAP, along with scanning technologies or digital warehouse tools.
- Experience supporting digital enablement or standardization initiatives across multiple markets. Certifications such as APICS CPIM/CSCP, Lean, Six Sigma, or equivalent operational excellence credentials.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to provide on‑site support and train branch personnel.
- Strong working knowledge of inventory movement processes, including cycle counts, receiving, scanning, replenishment flows, and stock transport orders (STOs).
