Bookkeeper
Location: North Tampa area
Salary: $60,000 - 65,000

Key Responsibilities of the Bookkeeper
- Manage full-cycle accounting processes, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end close
- Oversee general ledger activity to ensure the accuracy and reliability of financial records
- Support the development of monthly financial statements and internal management reports
- Conduct reconciliations for bank accounts, credit cards, and key balance sheet accounts
- Provide assistance with accounts payable and accounts receivable functions as needed
- Contribute to budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow reporting activities
- Prepare audit schedules and liaise with external auditors to fulfill audit requirements
- Assess and enhance accounting workflows and internal control procedures
- Work closely with operational leaders to ensure accurate financial reporting across multiple business units
- Participate in special projects, financial analyses, and broader accounting initiatives
Bookkeeper Qualifications
- 3+ years of bookkeeping experience
- Experience with month-end close and account reconciliations
- Working knowledge of GAAP and core accounting principles
- Proficiency in accounting software and Excel
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting
- Professional, discreet, and member-focused
- Comfortable in a hospitality/residential community environment
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills across diverse groups
- High level of judgment, maturity, and confidentiality
