Accounts Payable Clerk

Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm

Seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to support daily accounting operations. This role is responsible for processing invoices, maintaining vendor records, reconciling statements, and ensuring timely payments. Candidates with construction accounting experience and Sage software knowledge are highly preferred.

• Process vendor invoices and verify coding and approvals
• Enter invoices and payment transactions accurately
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies
• Prepare check runs and electronic payments
• Maintain vendor files, W-9s, and supporting documentation
• Assist with month-end close and AP reporting
• Support audits and maintain organized accounting records
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures

• 2+ years of accounts payable experience
• Construction industry experience preferred
• Sage accounting software experience preferred, especially Sage 300 or Sage 300 CRE
• Strong data entry, organizational, and Microsoft Excel skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• Excellent attention to detail and communication skills
