Short Description

FL-DBPR‑TLH‑Division of Regulation‑Auditing Clerk – 20 hrs a week, Monday‑Friday, flexible within the hours of 8 am to 5 pm.

Work Environment:
Professional Business Environment, cubicle

Parking:
Free surface or garage parking

• Auditing financial documents
• Performing accounting calculations
• Determine the financial stability of companies
• Utilize computer programs to locate documents, perform calculations, and enter required information into a reporting form
• Candidate will not work outside the office or have contact with the public

• Basic accounting skills
• Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Outlook and Excel
• Knowledge of GAAP preferred
• Previous auditing experience
• Ability to work independently and think critically

• Ability to speak and understand English
• High school diploma or GED
• Basic accounting skills (2 years)
• Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Outlook and Excel (2 years)
• Experience performing calculations and entering information into a reporting form in Excel
• Experience auditing financial documents
• Experience performing accounting calculations to determine financial stability of a company (highly desired)
