A tax intern is a short-term entry-level paid position. Previous public accounting and specialized tax experience are not a requirement.

Working as a tax intern will give you valuable skills, hands-on experience, and knowledge as you move forward in your accounting career. Excellent performance in this position may open the door to possible advancement within our firm.

• Must have the ability to read and understand common tax data

• Work experience in tax and accounting field is a plus but not required

• Undergraduate student with a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or within one year of completion of Bachelor’s in Accounting

• Manages time efficiently
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Organized, thorough, and efficient
• Must be highly detail-oriented
• Maintains a professional appearance and attitude
• Has a positive outlook and integrity
• Must be a team player and work well with other employees in the firm
• Open to constructive feedback
• Must be able to handle confidential and sensitive information
