Job Details

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Accountant to join our team. This is a permanent, full-time position that offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to our financial success while growing your career. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the financial health of our organization, providing financial information to management by researching and analyzing accounting data, and preparing reports.

Salary: $55,000 - $65,000 per year

Responsibilities
  • 1. Prepare asset, liability, and capital account entries by compiling and analyzing account information.
  • 2. Document financial transactions by entering account information and ensure legal requirements compliance.
  • 3. Summarize current financial status by collecting information; preparing balance sheet, profit and loss statement, and other reports.
  • 4. Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting activities including reconciliations of bank and credit card accounts, coordination and completion of annual audits.
  • 5. Develop, implement, modify, and document recordkeeping and accounting systems, making use of current computer technology.
  • 6. Provide financial analysis and forecasts to support strategic decisions.
  • 7. Conduct financial audits, providing recommendations based on detailed reports.
  • 8. Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies.
  • 9. Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Qualifications
  • 1. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • 2. Minimum 1+ years of accounting experience.
  • 3. Proficient in accounting software and MS Office Suite, particularly strong capabilities in MS Excel.
  • 4. Experience with general ledger functions, month-end/year-end close process, and financial reporting.
  • 5. Solid understanding of financial and accounting procedures, including reconciliations and financial auditing.
  • 6. Excellent analytical skills with an attention to detail.
  • 7. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • 8. Ability to manage time and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • 9. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
