A Fast-growing, fresh produce farming & distribution organization is seeking a team-minded, motivated, confident and bilingual Payroll Coordinator to join their busy office! This position will process employment applications, weekly payroll, perform compliance & safety procedures, worker’s comp administration and benefit administration along with working with a strong and established administration team on other duties related to their agricultural operations.
This company has had exceptional growth and has strong employee retention and satisfaction. This role will start hourly ($20 - $25 an hour) with the potential to transition to salary in the near future, if desired. Full benefits (health insurance, 401k, etc.) are also available. This position is based in the company’s Immokalee, FL office fulltime.

Duties & Responsibilities:- Entering employment information to appropriate databases
- Collect and submit payroll data for payroll processing
- Manage payroll tax reports
- Data entry into Quickbooks
- Facilitate paycheck distribution
- Facilitate employee compliance and training meetings
- Maintain employee records and training records
- Manage work comp injury reports and processing
- Responsible for organizing and facilitating seasonal hiring days
- Screening potential new employees with appropriate documentation and completion of new hire paperwork
- Other payroll duties and tasks may be added throughout the year as deemed necessary by management.
- Bi-Lingual in English and Spanish is strongly preferred
- Previous experience in Payroll Administration and time tracking
- Quickbooks (desktop) experience required
- Fundamental knowledge of Windows and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Deadline and detail-oriented with the ability to prioritize and multitask
- Ability to work independently and “own” the payroll process
- Strong initiative and willingness to take on projects in a proactive manner
- Strong communicator with excellent interpersonal skills.
- High school or equivalent (required). College degree in Human Resources or Business Administration (preferred)
