Overview
Responsible for all aspects of the warranty claim process as it relates to service parts.
ResponsibilitiesEnsure that all warranty entitlements from CMSU vendors are claimed.
Responsible for $16M in warranty claim reimbursement annually with 3,000+ transactions.
Ensure that all billings that occur are verified for warranty entitlements.
File warranty claims within the vendor set time limit.
Maintain a warranty database on all warranty entitlements.
Ensure the timely return of defective warranty parts to the vendor.
Ensure that all replacement parts or financial credits are received in a timely manner.
Work closely with the Finance department to ensure that warranty receivable accounts and open valid warranty claims match.
Manage the warranty returns process as it applies to CMSU dealers.
Publish monthly reports.
Personal contacts are routine with several sections, departments or divisions or require close collaboration with other members of the same section, department or division.
Supervisor managed; activities are governed by departmental and/or company rules and procedures, schedules are monitored.
Position duties involve making frequent decisions and frequent recommendations.
Mid-level to Advanced PC experience in (Oracle) Database and (Excel) spreadsheet programs required.
2 years' experience in a service parts or logistics environment and dealing with vendor warranty claims required.
5 years' experience in a service parts or logistics environment and dealing with vendor warranty claims preferred.
Pay Information:
Min Salary $50,000 to Max Salary $66,500 (annual equivalency); DOE.Prefer candidate in Central Standard Time/CST.
