Responsibilities
The incumbent in this position will perform a variety of general administrative, clerical, logistical, and operational support for the programs. The incumbent will be required to both take direction and work intuitively to support the completion of the School of Nursing goals. The duties include but are not limited to:
- Prepare and compile information for reports, maintain records/databases and the traditional BSN online application, process documents, ensure smooth daily operations, answer phones, take minutes, file/digital file management, and data entry.
- Assist with planning and implementing program activities, events, and projects; assist with the logistics for the School of Nursing pinning ceremony/printed program, convocations, orientations, meetings and serve as the iStrike designee and the Faculty/Staff Campaign Representative (University campaign).
- Create spreadsheets, complete forms and maintain records of grades and grade change forms along with managing excuses; attend meetings, trainings and workshops necessary to perform duties;
- Work cooperatively with all team members to support the achievement of work plan activities designed to achieve identified goals and objectives; operate office equipment such as monitors, fax machines, photocopiers, voice mail messaging systems and computer scanning equipment to complete department tasks;
- Coordinate any required repairs to office equipment; coordinate and complete significant special projects independently; and, maintain adequate office supply for the office and other duties as assigned.
A high school diploma or equivalency and four years of related experience; or a combination of post high school education and experience equal to four years.

- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
Bachelor's degree in appropriate area of specialization and two years experience; or master's degree in an appropriate area of specialization.
Pay PlanThis is an USPS (University Support Personnel System) position.
