JOB DUTIES- Processes inmate requests and grievances related to general and law library services, ensuring timely responses and availability of the library for a minimum of 25 hours per week.
- Supervises and assigns research duties to inmate clerks and aides, monitors their activities, evaluates their performance for gain time review, and initiates disciplinary actions as needed.
- Monitors the check‑out and return of library materials, interlibrary loan processing, and use of the copy machine, ensuring accuracy of records.
- Performs photocopying, maintains inventory of supplies, and manages library resources in accordance with rules and statutes.
- Collects data, compiles reports for librarian approval, and forwards law library invoices and charge forms.
