SENIOR CLERK-F/C (Major’s Secretary)
This open competitive advertisement is for a Career Service position located at Baker Correctional Institution in the Major’s Secretary Department.
Job Duties- Be the backbone of the Major’s Secretary Department by preparing correspondence, memorandums, and typing essential forms and documents.
- Play a crucial role in the Inmate Records area by maintaining inmate files, conducting audits on new inmates, and preparing necessary forms.
- Showcase your organizational skills by inputting data into the CDC database, retrieving and printing information, and maintaining classification documentation.
- Keep the department running smoothly by receiving, date stamping, sorting and distributing mail, as well as handling, copying, scanning, and faxing of documents.
- Provide top‑notch customer service by answering phone calls professionally, assisting inmate families, and taking on special projects and other clerical duties as assigned.
