We are seeking a Senior Clerk in the Classification Department to support accurate assessment and classification of inmates based on needs, risks, and behaviors. The role ensures appropriate housing, program placement, and promotes safety, security, and rehabilitation to aid successful reintegration.
Responsibilities- Prepare correspondence, memorandums, and type essential forms and documents.
- Maintain inmate records, conduct audits, and prepare necessary forms.
- Input data into the CDC database, retrieve and print information, and maintain classification documentation.
- Receive, date stamp, sort, and distribute mail; copy, scan, and fax documents.
- Provide professional customer service by answering phone calls, assisting families, and taking on special projects and other clerical duties.

Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent. Support of knowledge, skills, and abilities should be demonstrated on the application, in the education, in the work experience, in the work sample, in the interview and/or during reference checks. Additional InformationBackground Screening Requirement: All applicants must pass a Level 2 background check as per Chapter 435, Florida Statutes before employment.
