We are seeking an organized and proactive Office Manager for a contract opportunity with a nonprofit organization in Tallahassee, FL. Key Responsibilities- Manage daily office operations, including mail distribution, phone coverage, filing systems, office supplies, building access, employee badges, and general administrative workflow.
- Provide executive administrative support, including calendar management, meeting coordination, travel arrangements, document routing, board meeting support, and special project assistance.
- Process invoices, expense reports, petty cash reconciliation, check requests, procurement activities, and basic budget tracking.
- Coordinate meetings, events, employee engagement activities, catering, audiovisual needs, conference room scheduling, and internal office communications.
- Serve as a key liaison for facilities, vendors, cleaning services, office equipment, document storage, shredding services, maintenance projects, and related operational needs.
- Support cross‑functional activities such as IT equipment coordination, recruitment and onboarding preparation, purchasing card administration, fleet documentation, and donation or gift processing as needed.
- Pay Rate: $19.00 per hour.
- Schedule:
Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. - Assignment Length: 3 to 6 month contract with potential for permanent hire.
