The Sarasota Clerk’s Office is hiring an entry-level Sarasota Court Clerk to help support the local judicial court system and serve the public with professionalism, accuracy, and care. You do not need prior courtroom experience to be successful. We welcome applicants with strong customer service, writing skills, managing records, or data entry experience.
What You’ll Do
- Prepare and maintain important court records.
- Organize documents and case-related information.
- Support court operations and daily office activities
- Handle confidential information with care and accuracy.
- Help ensure records are accurate, complete, organized, and timely.

What We’re Looking For
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Prefer an associate or bachelor’s degree but not required.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Good listening, communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to stay organized and manage multiple tasks.
- Professionalism and dependability.
Helpful Experience
Experience in customer service, office support, records, banking, healthcare front desk, call center, education, government, or other administrative work is helpful. Legal experience is a plus but not required.
