Inventory Clerk

Pridestaff is seeking an Inventory Clerk for a local manufacturing client to manage product cataloging and digital inventory receiving in Shopify system. Working side-by-side with their Invoicing team, you will ensure that all incoming product data, SKUs, and pricing structures are accurately set up in Shopify before shipments arrive so items can be received and sold without delay. This role bridges physical product intake with digital backend management, keeping our inventory database fully aligned with billing and sales records.

Key Responsibilities

• Product Catalog Management:
  Set up new product entries, SKUs, variants, prices, and descriptions in Shopify to prepare the platform for incoming inventory shipments.
• Pre-Receiving Verification:
  Audit supplier documentation, purchase orders, and item specifications to ensure digital product setup matches incoming stock accurately.
• System Receiving & Stock Updates:
  Process incoming inventory logs into Shopify, updating stock levels in real time as shipments arrive and verifying against invoice records.
• Tagging & Label Prep:
  Generate and print internal pricing tags, SKU labels, and product barcodes directly from Shopify for physical application.
• Invoicing Administrative Support:
  Partner with the Invoice Clerk to match physical counts in Shopify against vendor invoices, flagging discrepancies in cost or stock quantity.
• Data Cleanup & Maintenance:
  Regularly audit Shopify product fields to fix catalog errors, duplicate entries, or missing data attributes.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Experience:
  
  1–3 years of administrative experience, specifically focusing on data entry, e-commerce cataloging, or inventory tracking.
• Technical Proficiency:
  Strong computer skills. Experience in using Shopify (or a similar e-commerce/CRM system) to add products, manage inventory levels, and handle digital tags a plus!
• Attention to Detail:
  Excellent eye for numeric accuracy, SKU matching, and cross-referencing multi-line item documents.
• Reliability:
  Proven record of punctuality and consistent attendance for the 9-5 schedule.
• Crafting Interest:
  An interest in sewing, fabric, or craft manufacturing is a strong plus.

Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $22.00 - $24.00 Per Hour
